Legal Eagles in India helps Olympian

India’s legal community has fixed luge competitor Shiva Keshavan’s broken dreams ahead of this month’s Winter Olympics.

Keshavan’s sled broke in training just days before India’s lone winter specialist’s departure for his fourth Olympics. However, five lawyers pooled 450,000 rupees ($10,000) to help pay for new equipment, the Times of India reported on Wednesday.

“I don’t know him personally but he is making so much effort against odds that we decided to contribute towards his cause,” lawyer Abhishek Singhvi told the paper.
